Overview

Six VM skippers plus Classic M skipper competed in ten heats on Sunday, July 11, in the club's VM #4 race. There was steady and light SW breeze with full sun and low-80s temps. We had two VM design categories: Traditional (TD) 1930-1945 VMs and High Flyer (HF) 1946-1970 VMs. Two TD and four HF VM boats competed along with American Classic M 1985 Rover model of Tom Hayden, which was not scored.

Results

Overall results had Stan Goodwin and his Warrior II HF winning by five points over both Rick Laird with Madcap TD and Biff Martin with UK HF models tied. This was decided by number of third place finishes, which favored Rick.

Overview

Seven VM skippers competed in ten heats on Saturday, August 8th in the club's VM #5 race.

There was a NE 5 knot sea breeze with full sun and high 70s temps. We had two VM design categories: Traditional (TD) 1930-1945 VMs and High Flyer (HF) 1946-1970 VMs.

TD and five HF VM boats competed.
